When trying to find ways of earning some pocket change online, many sites will scam you. Asking for your information for illegitimate free samples full of adware and the like, but a select few sites will legitimately pay you for using them and you don't have to put too much work into the if you don't want to. I have been making money online for YEARS and have learned the ins and outs of many of these.
1. Qmee
Qmee is a search engine tool that pays. What you do, is add it onto your search engine, I use Chrome, and when you do your normal searches, you have a chance of getting a paid text advert in the sidebar. If you click these related ads, you have a chance of earning a small amount of money, from 5 cents, sometimes 17 cents. Just don't use it simply to get money or it will stop giving you these paid adverts.
The fun thing about it, is that it allows Microtransactions to Paypal users. So even if all you have is 5 cents, you can cash it out. I just started using this app again, and although it has only given me 82 cents so far, that 82 cents can help a ton! As frugal as I am, that 82 cents basically just earned me some free bread at the grocery store, or a handful of free bananas.

2. Swagbucks
Yeah, you probably hear about this site often enough. Swagbucks is a site that pays you to shop, do surveys, watch videos, answer questions, etc, etc. I usually just answer the daily poll, do SwagCodes, and on occasion, the web search. I tend to earn about 100 SwagBucks a week, which is the equivalent to about a dollar.
You can use SwagBucks to get giftcards, Paypal, Amazon, sweepstakes, to donate to certain charities, etc, etc. I used this site while back as well and have gotten about 5 dollars a month from it. You can earn MUCH more than that if you combine the shopping and surveys as well. I prefer not to do that because I don't have the money to shop right now, and I hate surveys.

3. Adme
Adme is a lock screen advert app that pays you a few cents a day for allowing them to put advertisements on your phone lock screen. I combine the lockscreen app with their Adme Browser so I personally can earn more. Judging by how often I use the browser app, I can easily earn anywhere from 5 cents to 25 cents a day though this method. Like I said before, it does not sound like a lot, but even a little bit definitely helps in my case.
You cash out when you get 10 dollars, so depending on how much you use your phone, you can possibly cash out once a month. That's an extra 10 dollars you otherwise never had. Which if you spend it right, can be a few days worth of food.

4. Savingstar, Checkout 51, and Ibotta
Now these won't EARN you money as much as they will SAVE you money when shopping for products that you already buy. For instance, sometimes they have a rebate for Triscuit. If you buy two, you get 1.50 cash back or something similar to that. If you buy Triscuit already, and they have Tricuit as a rebate, input that into the app, take a picture of your receipt, and enjoy the savings!
Sometimes more than one app will have the exact same rebate, which you can use to save even more! The fun part about these apps, is that sometimes, you can combine a sale, and a coupon to get a REALLY low price, and then combine THAT with the rebate, and you can easily get the product either for completely free, or even make money buying that product. You can view this in action at the website KrazyCouponLady.com. I use that site all the time in order to see awesome discounts!

5. Receipt Hog
You won't get much from Receipt Hog, at all. But if you go shopping for groceries frequently like I do, it makes for some good pocket change.
I go to the store a few times a week, and many times I make separate transactions. So each receipt can earn me about 5 coins to 15 coins. You earn coins based on the total of your receipt, with the smallest being about 5 coins. 2 coins = a penny, so each receipt an earn you 2-7 cents back. You can also get coins back even if your total balance is 0. Fast food store receipt earn you contest entries, and specialty stores earn you slot attempts. You can earn up to 100$ on the slot reels.
But the idea is that you will most likely cashout every few months for 5$. Not a lot, but it's something.

6. Amazon Turk
Amazon Turk is a LOT of time put in for a little payout. Some of the easiest jobs readily available earning you as little as a penny for a few minutes of work. But it DOES pay out.
Since it is associated with Amazon, even a small amount of money is able to be cashed out into your Amazon Giftcard balance. I am right now saving up to purchase a Brother laser printer on Amazon, so any little bit helps. So if I feel like it, and have some free time, I will go on the site and do some tasks if I am bored, and I will walk away with like, 30 cents to a dollar, which I could get much more if I had a particular skill, like transcribing, but alas, every little bit counts.
